How to protect my python application

    I have developped some application to a customer by python. Because pyc is easily to be cracked to py. So I hope that he couldn't get my application. If I set a very strong root password and change the port of telnet, can it avoid my application from being stolen? Or is there any other way to protect my application? Thanks!
