How to see network drive through gateway

    good day
    I have created a gateway between my laptop and my home. Im able to ping the computers on my home network. I need a few pointers on where to go from here. I would like to see network shared drives and printer's
    Any tips or a link

    By gateway, you mean an internet connection sharing through winXP or vista?

    Just type \\ip into your IE browser, and you will see the shares and printers for that host.

    Your PC uses netbios to find windows shares, which are not passed over the "gateway" that is why they do not show up in My Network Places.
