    Hi

    perhaps it can help you.

For information, you should use the 27.10.05 V23

My router don't connect with the last version.
(it can be a error of me but I don't think)

I need to see the menu, to explain the DHCP fixed IP and i'm at work, not at home.

    Let's go... :)

your connexion to AP seem to be OK

    --------------------------------------------------
to add a fixed DHCP you need to
    -make DHCP on (setup/basic setup)
-make dhcpd on (administration/service) & add the adresse (button add)

mac adresse of the notebook behind the client router, name and ip you want fix
(not in dhcp range - so : 10.0.1.2 to 10.0.1.99)

    xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
    notebook
    10.0.1.10

    --------------------------------------------------
    I don't know zyxel G-1000

but if you want fix client router IP , you must use the MAC Address displayed on the Router/Status/MAC Address screen.

    xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
    slave
    10.0.0.250

and let the client router in DHCP mode (I now use this)

    (Internet Connection Type : DHCP)

    --------------------------------------------------
You must (I think) add a route like this to your router zyxel G-1000

    10.0.1.0
    255.255.255.0
    10.0.0.250

    --------------------------------------------------
Remarke : I don't fix Subnet mask & gateway on client (it work without for me).

    Local IP Address... 1.0.1.1
    Subnet Mask ... 255.255.255.0
    Gateway... 0.0.0.0
    Local DNS... 0.0.0.0

    --------------------------------------------------
If you want access to your router with another computer on the network, don't forget to validate remote router access on the administration/Management screen (80 and not 8080 is more simple)

    --------------------------------------------------

Be careful, I am a profesionnal developer but not a network specialist :-/ I have just play a lot of time with my 2 GS.
