    Hi guys,

i just brought a RV042 router, but i don't have any idea how to setup a VPN tunnel in this device.
Does anyone knows a tutorial, who explain step by step, how to choose Ip ranges and all the things that i have to know to make a vpn connection.

I confess, i'm dummie in it and i must to learn it.

I tried many times to setup in the Web Management area, but i can't make it works. Than, i think i'm doing something wrong.

I also tried to do a PPTP connection, but it isn't work too.
the client says that are something wrong.

    Can you help me, please?

    best and thanks

    PPTP Connection

If you are trying to connect via PPTP this is fairly straightforward.
The only reason you should not be able to connect is if you are not allowing GRE on the network you are coming from.
GRE is not a TCP Port. It is a protocol.
