How to startup the OpenVPN server/client behind a primary router?

For some reason I have to install the OpenVPN server/client behind a primary router.

The OpenVPN server/client was set in an old WL-520GU.

There is no WAN activity on the 520GU because the 520GU/WAN was disabled and bridged to LAN then directly connected to primary LAN.

OpenVPN server/client will not startup by checking the "start with WAN" box.

Can anyone help me to start it up, after the 520GU rebooting or power ON?
