    Hello,

    "Feb 12 23:12:11 unknown syslog.info -- MARK --" on each hour.
With very good firmware Tomato 1.04 on WRT54GS 1.1.

It's a newbe question (about syslog), but after a search i do not find ! If some one can help me.

    I am also this :

    "Feb 12 22:18:53 unknown user.info kernel: ip_conntrack_rtsp.c: help_out: ip_conntrack_expect_related failed (-17)"
I do not touch on any parameters in conntrack page.

    Thank you for you help.

When you run a "ps" ( = process status) on the Tomato-prompt (either through ssh or telnet), you'll see that syslog is running with the "-m 60" parameter. Hence the "MARK" every 60 minutes.
If it is really that annoying to you, you could kill the syslog-process and (re)start it from the prompt without that specific parameter. Frankly I don't care it does...

The "unknown" is supposed to be the WRT54's hostname. Maybe you should give your Linksys a name in Basic --> Identification --> Hostname, so it shows up? I use plain "linksys" for the hostname.

    Regarding the conntrack-error: I don't have a clue.

This happens sometimes when you watch video streams (Real Time Streaming Protocol). Jon knows about this. See also here
