As title says... I want to shut off the notices being logged for 1 particular cron, how do I do this?

I am tired of it filling up the log!!!

Go to Administration | Logging | Log Cron Events
and make sure the box is unchecked.

You are aware, that the setting of "Log Cron Events" does not affect
the logging of the effects of the actions that are triggered?

With other words: Turn off "Log Cron Events" and make sure that the
events that are triggered leave a trace of their own in the log file.
For instance, a shell script could make use of the "logger" command
in order to leave a message in the log file.
