    I have a wrt54gs v4 with Thibor 15c loaded

Connected is a number of wireless laptops, a PC, network Printer and a Snazio SZ1350 network multimedia player.

For some reason when i am streaming movies wirelessly to the Snazio player with encryption turned on, it will lose the connection and the player will stall or freeze. Without encryption turned on the streaming is perfect through the whole movie.

None of my laptops have speedbooster adatpers so i was thinking to turn off the speedbooster feature of the router and see if it makes any inprovement to the streaming to the snazio media Player

Can anyone tell me how to turn it off?

Disable "Afterburner" in the advanced wireless settings.

Would have made more sence to call it "Speedbooster" rather than "afterburner" for the newbies

Anyone got any ideas for my streaming issue, that would be good too.

Dave_iou1, just for info, Afterburner was first, from Broadcom, the chip maker. Speedbooster came later, and is Linksys's name for it.

Some more useless info: Afterburner/Speedbooster is just the tip of the iceberg - just about every OEM calls the same "thing" by a different name, and uses inconsistent model numbers, and one version up or down may differ totally from the previous/next version, and Turbo G and Speedbooster is not compatible, and RP-TNC is not the same as TNC, and you will have a hard time determinining the sex of the antenna connector, and, and, and....

So I guess, best get used to it. And now I'll get off of my pulpit...
