How to use WRT as a invisible wireless bridge/switch?

I currently have a WRT54G 2.2 with an older alchemy release. But currently I haven't figured out how to do what i want. So maybe you can tell me if there are other firmwares that would work, or if I can do it with the one I have. I have 2 computers hooked up to the WRT which I want to act like a wireless bridge to my main network which has a regular WAP. What I want to happen is to have the 2 computers connected to the WRT be able to get the DHCP request from off the main network, and have communications both ways just as if the WRT was a regular switch. So can I do what I want?

i dont own a wap or have any real experience with them but maybe wds would work, becuase wds would get a dhcp request form the existing network. but i dont know if the wap supports wds. it (wds) does everything that you would want it to do. you can achive wds in dd-wrt alchemy and talisman i dont know about hyperwrt.
