I just added my CLP-315 to tomato, it was pretty straightforward once I figured out the settings.

    In Tomato:

-make sure that under USB Support, "USB Printer Support" is checked

    -plug usb cable
    -turn on printer

    On Snow Leopard 10.6.4

-open System Preferences > Print & Fax
-click the "+" sign on the bottom left hand side of left column
-the "Add Printer" dialog pops up, choose:

-- protocol "HP Jetdirect - Socket"
-- Address (the LAN IP of your Tomato router)
    -- Queue (blank)
-- Name ( whatever name you want)
-- Location (anything; Mars or Uranus if you want)
-- Print using - choose the driver for your printer

    -click "Add"

The clp-315 already has a driver in snow leopard and there is a newer version in the Samsung's website. I am using the SL one.

Next you should see it on your list. And that's it. Print a test page.

It should work for other printers, just choose the right driver.
