httpd listening on WAN port?

In order to allow for TCP based openvpn connections, I opened up port 443 on the firewall. Imagine my surprise when I attempted to start openvpn and it told me the port was already on use. Accessing https://my-public-ip got me to the tomato administration page.. my eyes almost fell out.

When allowing admin access via http only, you can chose whether to make httpd listen on the LAN or on WAN as well.. shouldn't that be an option for https as well?

I'm trying that now with my router (from outside my LAN), and thankfully it's not working. I have my router config set to https with remote access turned off, and am using the official 1.10.

When I set the "Local Access" dropdown list to HTTPs, the "Remote Access" checkbox disappears on my box. Does it behave differently on yours?

"Remote Access" is a pop-up menu for me (not a checkbox), and it still shows with "Local Access" set to "HTTPS." What Tomato version are you using?

Maybe that's your problem (no idea). I'm using the official 1.10, not the OpenVPN one. Maybe someone else using the OpenVPN variant can chime in.
