Linksys already release the source code for the WAP 208 firmware. When we should see a new version of HyperWAP?

I know that the 2.08 firmware from linksys have a better driver for the broadcomm wirelless chip that´s inside the WAP54G. I´m getting more bandwidth and better signal.

Problem is my development computer completely crashed yesterday.
If I can find the time to reinstall everything, maybe within a few weeks, otherwise around July.

so to hear that, hope it is not serious...

Probably just a new hard disk. Lost however all the work I did the last days on HyperWRT and part of the DD-WRT translation. The modern hard disks are not anymore what they used to be ;)

I only trust in seagate hard disks.
But you have to be prepared for everything.

Quantum used to build nice hard disks but some models before maxtor bought it sucked pretty bad.

You know that Seagate is the only company that complieas to ALL the specifications that the IDE standards require.

No seagate hard disks here anymore ;) I must have had about 5 seagate hard drives (going from 10GB to 60GB) and they all died. The one that crashed now was from IBM and was ticking a lot. I should have known.

The hard drive from my first 286 laptop is great. It's almost as old as me and still running ;) Unfortunately you can't compile firmware on it...

This is so true. I used to have to choose between MFM or RLL formatted drives, and a 5mb disk - the size of a shoebox in it's external case - cost over $300.
