The update you all have been waiting for, HyperWRT 2.0b4 :)

    Changes in 2.0b4 :

    * Increased maximum concurrent connections from 1024 to 4096
    * TCP Timeout has been optimized
    * Minor bugfixes and enhancements

These fixes should give better performance when you are running P2P programs (like bittorrent), which open up a lot of connections.

You can download HyperWRT at http://www.hyperdrive.be/hyperwrt/

    Have fun!

    Thanks for your great work.

I've just installed it over 1.2b3, no problem, even keep all the setting.

I recommend you do a reset

What about the Configuration restore/save feature? Can save my settings from 1.2b3, flash with 1.2b4 and restore it?
Just asking 'cause I read the warnings about it....

If you don't want to retype everything, just don't do a reset. It will just run fine. However, when switching from different firmware (sveasoft or wifibox), a reset to defaults is highly recommended.

Nothing wrong here. Tested both in IE and FireFox. Maybe try a refresh (F5)?

All the pages works perfect here.... Already loves this firmware, only thing that I try not to miss is the static DHCP, but I cant seems to get the Client Lease Time to work. When I try to set it to several days, it still shows up as only one day, when I do a ipconfig /all on the clients...?

This will probably be the same in the official firmware.
Maybe there are too much toolbars in IE, or you screen resolution is too high.

read somewhere about a "bug / undocumented feature" in the linksys firmware that allows static ip for your pc just set the ip to static on the network properties and make sure that is below the dhcp start ip's.

I have my main pc set up with static ip= and the rest are set via dhcp from the WRT54g. Have been running like this since i found out 6 weeks ago with no problems.

if it works fine in one OS and doesn't in the other then I suggest there is nothing wrong with the firmware just your browser.

others have already confirmed it works for them.

Ok, changed to 800x600x16 and removed toolbars. No change

Anyway, it's just a cosmetic problem.

    Hello everyone,

I recently upgraded the firmware of my Linksys WRT54GS router:
HyperWRT v1.4 (based on Linksys v2.09.1) -> HyperWRT 2.0b4 (based on Linksys v3.37.2)

The most impressing things I've noticed, further than the new/improved features are:

    1) I succeed to cover places at my home with just 10 mW, while in past I needed >50 mW
    2) In past, whenever my laptop (with Linksys WPC54GS) was far away from the router, it was taking time (at least 3-5 attempts) to connect to the router while now it connects immediatelly with just a single attempt

Special Thanks to Avenger and Linksys

PS: In past, I had created a thread with many requests/suggestions but I hadn't realized that Avenger wanted to keep his firmware hacks close to the original firmware. I apologize for asking all these things.
