I am currently having problems playing 2 player LAN games locally through my Linksys router. I mailed Linksys support for some help, the subject of the mail was LAN Gaming Problem and the mail described the problems I was having. I received a reply suggesting port forwarding. I asked them to confirm this as I thought it was just for Internet game hosting. They replied oops sorry, we thought that was what you wanted to do - attached is a firmware upgrade. I replied "There doesnt seem to be anything attached to your mail". They re-sent it and I applied it and couldnt connect to the internet. I mailed them back about this new problem (which I have resolved myself) and they sent me back instructions for resetting my router to fix the problem I was having logging on to the router! Have they been reading someone elses mails and replying to mine? Or just not reading the mails at all?
