I have enabled CIFF 1 for Bandwidth Monitoring on NAS

    I have anabled Bandwidth Monitoring on NAS i have crated user name and password and location is \\192.168.0.100\Disk_1 and i have entered it in CIFS 1 it says mounting and thats it,


    Pls help me :)

    Have you given proper read/write privileges on the share?

    this is the error Feb 19 13:11:15 unknown user.err kernel: CIFS VFS: cifs_mount failed w/return code = -6
    and we are talking about DNS-343 FIRM 1.03

    Eric,
    What router and what Tomato version?

    If your router can run ND version, try the Tomato mod from this thread - non-USB build if your router doesn't have USB port. It has an updated CIFS driver, and may work for your NAS (but I don't know for sure - never had a chance to test it with any NAS devices). Most probably you will have to specify the Netbios Name for your share and "LANMAN" security type (these options are missing in the vanilla Tomato).
