Ideas for new features for v24

How about a topic where we brainstorm some new ideas for some new features we'd like to potentially see with v24..... aside from the new 16 vlan wireless stuff :)

    I have a few..

    - Perhaps a web based inteface for ipkg so we can manage packages from the web admin

    - I'd like to see SIPatH dropped in favor of Asterisk for the WRT54G in the VoIP version. Milkfish isn't really developing new stuff or fixing bugs, but the potential with asterisk is HUGE... especially with DD-WRT's built in Samba support where we can store voicemail to a NAS, etc. If you add a TFTP server with this build one could even provision their cisco/sipura phones fromt he router... VERY COOL!!!

    - the ability to bind multiple static (or dhcp) addresses via the web interface t the WAN side and have it do the NAT translations on both sides (incoming/outgoing).

    - more updates with binding the ports 3+4 for dual WAN (and/or WAN via one wired connection and one wireless client) ... add more options for how you want fail-over, etc. (route equalize, etc.)

Just some ideas... keep up the great work BS!

Dual Wan is the most important thing in my eyes. it would be a major break through if this was possibe :thumb:

You don't ask for much, do you?

...though that would be cool :)

I have a simple request - should not be too hard to implement.

I would like to see the web session time-out - or give an option to time-out.

Once I log out, I dont want to have to exit my browser to insure the user will reveice a password prompt when the log on to the device.

It would be great, if the date & time (+maybe the duration), when the router connected to the ISP would be displayed in the WebGui status page.
