    linksys WRT160L - CPU atheros 400MHz, 32MB ram, 8MB flash, radio N, FastEthernet - supported by openwrt
    but better...
asus RT-N16 - CPU broadcom 533MHz, 128MB ram, 32MB flash, radio N, gigabit lan - supported by ddwrt and tomato
netgear WNR3500L - CPU broadcom 480MHz, 64MB ram, 8MB flash, Radio N, gigabit lan - supported by ddwrt (fully), tomato (in progress) and openwrt (beta)
tplink WR1043ND - CPU atheros 400MHz, 32MB ram, 8MB flash, radio N, gigabit lan - supported by openwrt (fully) and ddwrt (in progress)

If you want tomato, you should choice asus or netgear. If you want openwrt my choice is tplink - the best transfers from/to usb!! and this router is very cheap.
