    Hi @ all,

today i look into the "NSLU2, Samba and performance" topic and made some test about this. I use Samba ver. 3.0.23 and tested with the following parameters of smb.conf :
    socket options = TCP_NODELAY IPTOS_LOWDELAY SO_RCVBUF=xxxx SO_SNDBUF=xxxx

There were no big improvments at all. I copied from PC->NSLU2 with ~ 4MB/s and from NSLU2->PC with ~3.5MB/s. The interessting thing is that writing to the NSLU2 is faster than reading from it. I read that it should be the other way! At all my tests i disabled the tcp autotuning feature of Vista ( netsh interface tcp set global autotuning=disabled )

What are your experiences about that topic ? Are there some other ways to improve speed or is just the CPU of the NSLU2 at its limits ?
