I am upgrading from a 802.11b Orinoco card that works on all channels (1-14), to a 802.11g card that will work on all channels (1-14). I just don't know which cards can be "hacked" with firmware/drivers to do so.
I know that the Japan versions will work, but I don't speak Jananese.
Also, the card will be used for wardriving, so it has to have an external antenna jack.

I was looking at the Buffalo WLI-CB-G54A, which has an external antenna jack. But, I can not find any info about making it work on channels 12-14.

    Please, please help.

    1-11 is US/Canada
    1.13 is EU
    1.14 is Japan.

unless you goto Japan or by on the net from a japanese site, you would find it hard to get 1-14 channels i guess.

best option is to get a EU Linksys Card device. unless someone can actualy hack the devices firmware/drivers.
