I have wrt54gs upstairs, and need to get a signal to the basement on the other side of the house for my P3 (about 60 ft or so.) 1.) Why don't they make all routers for home use be able to go a min. of 100ft/upstairs/downstairs/etc.. 2.) What is the best solution to get this signal stronger in the basement?

I guess the best (and only) solution is setting up a repeater.
It receives the (weak) signal and sends it out boosted
