Installed DD now won't uplink to switch

With the latest Linksys stock firmware I was able to use a crossover cable to connect my 24port 3com switch to my WRT54G.

After installing DDWRT the cross over no longer works and the computers on the 24port only see each other, not the internet or my wireless computers on the WRT.

Have you tried cycling the power on your 3com switch?

The WRT has autosensing ports so it shouldn't matter but have you tried using a regular patch cable instead of the cross-over? Also can the clients connected to the 3Com switch ping the WRT?
