Can someone help me please, I have a WAG54G with the latest firmware installed.

I have enabled uPnP in the router settings and have changed my clients to use dns and gateway to 192.168.0.1 (Router IP).

In windows Network connections it shows Internet Connection then it has disabled under it. I right clicked and tryed to enable it but it just goes back to disabled.

I disabled all windows firewalls any ideas anyone please?

    Using SP2

    Thx in advance.

Did you specify a "Service Name" on the Internet Setup page? If you did, that could be the problem. Leave the field blank.

Otherwise I don't know any solution.

Do you mean host name or domain name on the main page on the router? I cant find "service name" if so it already is blank...

Anyone got any other ideas? :(

No, not the host or domain name. I use PPPoE to get online but all the other methods (even PPPoA) don't provide a service name.

    I guess I can't help you, sorry.

Don't know if I'm missing something here but should you not be using 192.168.1.1 for the router DNS etc.?

If you use 1 wired PC with router default settings (set pc to suit the router in this case, use router dhcp) - then set your provider info up on the router page1 are you then able to get internet access?
