Hi! After a month of testing different firmwares I decided to use tomato! But there are some limitations and problems which I would like to have explained.
I want to use my usb port on my router, so I installed teddy_bear's ND USB version (1.23), I had to trick tomato to use 32MB of ram. Than I started tests with ftp and samba. When USB shares aren't enabled the RAM usage was 50% so around 15MB, but as soon I put my stick in the usb and connected to it went to 95%! Is this normal? I know ASUS original firmware creates a swap file, 16MB I think, on the drive that is connected, maybe this is the reason for it!
I have like 12 people connected to my 16Mbit DSL, I would like to use the IP/MAC Limiter but the version which has this mod is from vicek and has no USB support. @teddy_bear can you make a version with IP/MAC bandwidth limiter???
