Though the wrt54gs is supposed to allow VPN Ipsec passthrough with alchemy firmware I'm unable to establish a L2TP with IPSec rule behind my router. The connexion L2TP w. IPSec works fine if I'm directly connected, but give me a login or password error if I connect througth the wrt54gs. I'm on XP SP1 using a Bewan VPN client (no soft firewall) and the VPN server is run by a bewan router. PPTP or L2TP w/o IPSec works fine. If anybody have an idea. Many thanks

have you tried port forwarding the L2TP port? or using IPtables in telnet to make sure the L2TP port is not blocked.

    try forwarding:
    udp/tcp 47 (GRE)
    udp 500 IKE
    tcp 1701 L2TP control
