iptables Log Entries Truncated

Seems Tomato (and other firmwares) truncate iptables log entries.

    See here:

Is this something easily remedied? (Check the bottom of the thread linked.) I'm trying to diagnose a FW problem and don't know if there are additional flags in the iptables log entries due to the truncation of them. I suspect the entries are limited to something like 256 chars, and we probably need something like 300 for complete iptables log entries, but it's hard to tell since I don't know what a reasonable complete log entry looks like.

I'm currently using Toastman's tomato-ND-1.28.7621.1-Toastman-ND-VPN.trx build with great success otherwise. Thanks to Toastman/Victek/teddybear and others that contribute to this community. (And Jon for the Tomato to start with!)

It's not a bug, as pointed out in DD forum, Linux is the same and the line has to be drawn somewhere, especially on a router. The current length of 256 bytes seems OK to me. Perhaps some of the main developers have a comment, best posted on TomatoUSB forum. Maybe one could be given a choice.
