I would like to be able to see user activity eg websites visited, downloaded amounts, uploaded amounts, be able to set up a parental control system where i can set users a certain amount of time on there user accounts. and not by computer. this time is across any computer that the user logs into. If anyone can suggest something please let me know. I was looking into building my own router with an old computer. but so far cant find the parental controls per user. I have a WNR3500L router. and using Toastman's latest firmware.
Maybe try captive portal - users have to type their name and pasword - i think you should store imformation about their activity and so on
