Is it possible to bridge a WAG54G and a WRT54GS ?

I've seen lots of posts regarding the WRT54G / GS and that you can bridge two of these routers using the Sveasoft firmware, however would it be possible to bridge a WAG54G and a WRT54G ?

    Thanks, K.

have sucessfully got my WRT54GS using Satori 4 running in client mode to connect to my WAG54G.

Make sure you turn off all RIP routing options in both boxes, correctly enter the gateway addresses, SSID and WEP keys.

Not convinced of 100% reliablility yet, but not tried fiddling too much.

    Excellent news, thanks !!

Just one other question, did you use WEP, WPA or WPA-PSK ?

    WEP.

Reliability of everything is greatly improved by installing the latest firmware in the WAG54G and before starting reseting everything with a 30second reset. Also make sure you type your SSID and WEP keys correctly or else hardly surprisingly it doesn't work.

Also it appears that if you have ever enabled RIP routing even for a short while whilst fiddling everything can misbehave, so reset and start again.
