Is it possible to force specific devices to use particular DNS servers?

Long story short, I have a NowTV box, which is a cut down Roku LT (afaik) with no way to change DNS on the box itself, I'm looking for a method that will allow me to use UnoTelly or UnblockUS or similar to allow me to watch region locked content on the device.

I don't want to change the DNS settings entirely on my router as who knows what they're doing with it behind the scenes, so I was hoping there might be a way to assign specific DNS servers to the NowTV box from the router, or (there is an option for proxy settings on the NowTV) maybe even an easy enough way to set up a proxy server or VPN connection (to cyberghost or something like that with UK servers) on the router that would achieve the same results of making it appear as if I am using the box from the UK? (I'm in Ireland)

    thanks in advance. :)
