Is it possible to setup bandwidth alarms?

    Hi Folks,

I've been using Tomato RAF for ages and have been logging bandwidth statistics. Up until recently, I haven't had any issues with the bandwidth exceeding our monthly allowance, however now it's pretty consistently getting pretty close to our monthly limit. Unfortunately, my ISP doesn't offer unlimited bandwidth on the package that we're signed up for.

Is there a way in tomato to setup bandwidth alarms (i.e. like you would for a cell phone), such that once a threshold is exceeded the router would send out a warning email(s)? Any ideas on how this could be done?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Probably wouldn't be too bad with a script and like an hourly cron job... Just have it check the monthly total, and when it passes some threshold you can have sendmail (busybox version should be installed by default) fire off an email.

I wouldn't be surprised if this has already been done. I would probably try doing some searching and see what you can come up with.
