Just a thought but does anyone think that an old version 1 with the mini-pci card can be upgraded to a 802.11n by using a new pci card? I know the software support may be lacking right now but I'm more asking from a hardware point of view.

I know the v1 has a 125MHz processor and the 802.11n will need a new antenna.

    Thanks for your responses.

The 802.11 N uses multiple antenna and radios and is both a hardware and software implementation, which the WRT54G v1 cannot be pgraded to. The SRX series cannot be upgraded to the 802.11 n even with two radios and up to three antennas.
