Is the RV042 slowing down my bandwidth?

I'm on a full T1 here and things seem a little slugish. I ran some bandwidth tests and each one comes back well below the 1500kpbs I should be seeing (like as low as 600kpbs to as high as 900kpbs). Could the RV042 be the cause (any settings I need to check specifically?). I've got another setup exactly the same in our other office and that one comes back the same. I also contacted our provider to see if it's something on their end.

    Thanks all

Did you set the MTU to manual and 1500 ? I have a RV082 multiplexing two 20Mbps connections and doing multi-threaded downloads I can get up to 35Mbps. I dont know if the RV042 and RV082 are that different.

Yes. Seems maybe a tad better (ran closer to 1000kpbs)

you may also want to run TCPOptimizer on your system to make sure the Windows settings are correct. you can download TCPOptimizer from our downloads area.
