I have search over the whole internet for the ultimate wifi internet router. Anywhere I go they say wrt54g or wrt54gs. So, its must be the best router out there? And today I visted a freenode irc channel and a whole channel told me that linksys was crap. And Netgear is the right way to sucess. I think netgear are ugly. Linksys is more, cool!

But I have a few questions.

    1. Is the router stable? I dont want any dropouts and disconnetions.

    2. I have 10mbit duplex internet connection... Will i be able to download files in 1,2 mb/sek then? or just under, like with cabels.

    3. I often stream music over my local internet... Will i get any strange packets drops?

    4. How long is the range?

I have readning a lots of reiews about this unit. It have bad troughtput. (spelling?)

    Have a good day

    1. I don't actually use mine on the internet, I just use it as a wireless gateway, but the wireless side has never been flakey...

    2. It shouldn't have a problem dealing with 10mbit, but again i've never tried it connected directly to my modem

    3. This is highly unlikely

    4. easily goes 60 feet across over 3 floors through concrete, tile and wood.. (as well as several doors and walls) and it's inside a cement room with no windows...
