Is there a bandwidth limiter for wifi on Tomato?

    Any scripts possible?

Basically, I want all my wifi clients to have upload speed (to the internet) capped at 30 KB/s with my LAN clients exempt.

I think the way to go about this would be to assign all wifi clients IP addresses in a certain range, and give your LAN clients IPs in a different range. Then set a QoS rule capping the outgoing bandwidth of all clients in the IP range you give to people on wifi.

But if you're just trying to make sure that no one wifi user hogs bandwidth, then simply turning on QoS with the default rules will do 95% of what you want. This will let people use as much bandwidth as they want but force them to share nicely when multiple people want access.

It turns out the BW Limiter works for wifi. I just tested it and it works. :)
