Is there a trick to upgrading firmware after loading DD-WRT?

I loaded the DD-WRT v23 SP1 firmware (the one with the WRT54G in the title) on my WRT54G v2 router, and ever since, I have been unable to upgrade the firmware using either tftp or the linksys auto updater. (I think I tried the built in updater in the administration tab - but I can't recall for sure). I have been trying to do the Alchemy 1.0 firmware (or the original Linksys version) to no avail.

    Am I missing something here?

Go to Linksys web page and get the firmware from this location: http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Sate...802645&pagename=Linksys/Common/VisitorWrapper

Initialize your router by pressing the reset button for 30 seconds continuously.

Then from the administrator page upload the firmware. Use this file: WRT54G_4.30.5_US_code.bin

Finally, after the linksys firmware is loaded once again, re-initialize it one more time (press reset for 30 continuous seconds).
