Is there any possibility of configuring the ports on the router with different IP's?
Anyway of having tomato had out the ip's for it?
    For example....Say I have a Linksys 4 port router.
I would like Tomato had out 192.whatever IP's to ports 1 and 2
I would also like tomato to give out 10.whatever IP's on ports 3 and 4.
Is this a feature that could be implemented?

Are you talking about having separate VLANs to go with the separate IP scopes?

Yes...I do think that is what I'm saying.....Except being able to configure it per port.
    Port 1: 192.168.1.x
    Port 2: 10.8.80.x
    Port 3: 172.16.25.x
    Port 4: whatever.

If that is possible than in theory, you could up link each port to a different switch/hub, and each port would have its own network.

To give you an idea of what I want to do, Is..... I have two MV5150's and want one on my internal network, and one....I guess DMZed, but I dont want it to touch any of my internal network machines. I want it as if it were not there. Also because those addresses are not routable I would not have to worry about someone accessing my internal MV.

So yes, I do think that is what I'm saying...
    Does this make any sense?

It is possible IMO - you'd have to vlan (or some alternate) the different ports to each have its own interface, and then figure out how to make dnsmasq (the DHCP/DNS server on Tomato) work on each interface seperately (or run 4 different instances of dnsmasq).

Doable, but difficult, I would say....

Well thats good to know. Not the answer I was looking for, but glad to hear it could be done. Hmmm maybe I could be lazy and hope it can be an addition to a future Tomato release?
I have no Idea how or where I would start to implement something like this, But I do have to say.....it would be a very cool/nice feature.
