Is Tomato compatible with the linksys WAP54G access point?

    I just moved into a new apartment for graduate school and they only have ethernet jacks. I want to setup an wireless access point (not a router, just an access point) running tomato. So I was wondering if the linksys WAP54G is compatible with Tomato?

    Plug in an ethernet cable from the host router to the WAN port of your tomato router and set up wifi as you normally would. Everything should be fine... Unless your college says wifi is a big no-no, in which case you have to make the effort to hide your network.

    I don't think the WAP54G is compatible, so you probably have to connect a tomato router to your network as I described above. For more detailed info, you can consult the wiki:
