    Hi,

    does the Wag54g v1 have a ADSL2 modem?

What is the difference between ADSL, ADSL2 and ADSL2+ ? (speeds etc.)

I tried finding wag54g v1 on linksys uk, but can't find it. Is it removed from their site? (are they trying to forget about that product?)

    Wag v2 have adsl2+ support, not V1.

V1 has a lot of problems that V2 fixes.

V2 can have alternative firmware because it is based on a linux sys, V1 can't because it uses a proprietary firmware (not GPL)

    conclusion V2 powa.

thanks guys for your answers, but I wanted to know what modem the WAG54Gv1 had.

My wag54v1 with wireless turned off, works perfectly. I use a WRT54G to do the wireless part.
