Is WRT54GS really better than WRT54G?

Considering you need to use Linksys' hardware to get Speedbooster to work, is the WRT54GS really better than the WRT54G? Are there other areas where the GS is better than the G router (i.e. signal, range, options, etc.)?

    Thanks,
    Richard

in terms of adding on software through hacked firmware, the GS has an extra 4mb of ram

The WRT54GS has 32 MB RAM and 8 MB FLASH memory, while the WRT54G has only 16 MB RAM and 4 MB FLASH memory.

If you are not planning to use third party firmware (which could benefit from the addtional RAM and FLASH memory) and if you don't want to use the speedbooster feature (which gives only an average speed improvement of 15-20% and which requires additional Linksys hardware), it doesn't matter if you buy a WRT54G or WRT54GS.
