    Hello Folks!

First post here. I searched for the subject but I coudn´t find it...

The DNS and Gateway from my ISP is the same as my WRT54G (192.168.1.1).

So, when I tryied to setup the router by the web-based utility, there is no answer from the server - using the setup cd-rom, it goes into looping.

I have a static IP, provided by my ISP

When I ping the router IP, it works perfect, but I am not able to configure it.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks for the help!

    I solve the problem.

    I turned off my desktop

Connected the ISP cable to the router
    Turned on the router
    Turned on my notebook
The wireless from my notebook reconized the WRT54G
I opened the web base utility, changing the IP from the router to 192.168.0.1

Turned on my desktop, connected the router-desktop cable and everythig worked fine.
