Things are changing around www.breezy.ca Just installed an ASA5505 to replace my RV042 on the Breezy! site. I will now proceed to experiment with it the next few weeks and let y'all know (sounds like DocLarge might talk, eh?) what I come up with.

I'm going to focus on the SSL VPN client...maybe Toxic, DocLarge or Kspare would like to play? This is a very cool and scalable solution.

Updated -- Navigate over to Breezy!

I got several PMs from people that wanted more info on the ASA5505. First off (and shamelessly plugging my own site!) you should check out www.breezy.ca and plug in "ASA5505" or "ASA 5505" into the search box. You'll find several links including some to some product briefs at Cisco's site. Also, here are the latest two blogs/forum posts:

Could you tell what's the processor inside ASA5505?

You have me very curious as to why you would want to know that. I am sure i can find it on cisco's site but I am at odds as to why?

    It's an AMD Geode 500 MHz processor. Here's a link: http://www.amd.com/us-en/ConnectivitySolutions/ProductInformation/0,,50_2330_9863_13022,00.html

Also, here's the output of a "show version" on my ASA5505:
