I have a WAG54G v1.2 and until recently I had very few problems with it. Just used it for 1 PC to connect to the Internet and to run my Soundblaster wireless music. Now I have built another PC to cut down on the kids arguing and that can also connect fine. However, when I try to set up a 2 player game across the network, the game will not run properly and I have discovered that the speed drops from around 54 to 1. I havent tried any fixes as yet because I dont really know where to start. I've got a few ideas of things to try but something more concrete would be helpful. Both PCs are running XP and the games tried so far are Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Battlefield 2

Yes, both are wireless. One has a Linksys adapter and the other has a Belkin adapter
