Lan Port #3 on WRT54G problems

I have a v2 WRT54G. Was working fine for many months and then one day it started having problems with any device connected to LAN port #3.

Any Windows box you connect (using any cable) will show a 100Mbps connection but the machine can not actually send/receive any data that I'm aware of. The main symptom being that DHCP fails.

I've done a factory reset, including holding reset for 30s, and it still does it.

I've also recently applied DDWRT firmware and same symptoms. All the other ports (LAN1,2,4 and WLAN, and Wireless) work fine.

If anyone has any experience with this problem and any luck fixing it (short of sending it back to Linksys) please let me know. I'm tempted to call them but I've heard they are sending out v5 units now so I don't know that I want to bother. :(
