Ok... I have a very silly network setup.. but I'd like to keep it this way if I manage to get around its problems. I have two AG241V2 modem routers handling two ISP connections. one for lan network-client web and mail the other for web services and sharing (ftp and mail serving for example). Both AG241V2s (fw 2.01.00) live on a 10.0.1.0/24 subnet (10.0.1.1-browsing and 10.0.1.2 for services). The WiFi connections and IP address assignment are handled by a WRV200 (fw 1.0.20) operating on a 10.0.0.0/24 address space with "externall" address 10.0.1.1 connecting to 10.0.1.1 . Reasons for this setup are for example: two layers of firewall protection, possibility of seamlessly switching to other ISP (10.0.0.2) in case of emergency, resource sharing with another lan (10.0.2.0/24). One of the main problems I'm having is that some services like AIM messaging now fail... What should I play with? I tried setting the WRV200's Setup > Advanced Routing > Operation Mode to Router instead of gateway but this made things worse so I dcided not to mess things further and ask for help... Here are the tables for esier understanding WRV200: Code: [ Destination ][ LAN IP ][ Subnet Mask ][ Gateway Interface ] [ Default Route (*) ][ 255.255.255.0 ][ 0.0.0.0 ][ LAN&Wireless ] [ 10.0.1.0 ][ 255.255.255.0 ][ 0.0.0.0 ][ WAN ] [ 188.8.131.52 ][ 255.0.0.0 ][ 0.0.0.0 ][ LAN&Wireless ] [ Default Route (*) ][ 0.0.0.0 ][ 10.0.1.1 ][ WAN ] [ 127.0.0.1 ][ 0.0.0.0 ][ 127.0.0.1 ][ LOOPBACK ] AG241V2: Code: [ Destination ][ LAN IP ][ Subnet Mask ][ Hop ][ Gateway Interface ] [ 184.108.40.206 ][ 255.255.255.252 ][ 0.0.0.0 ][ 1 ][ WAN (Internet) ] [ 10.0.1.0 ][ 255.255.255.0 ][ 0.0.0.0 ][ 1 ][ LAN ] [ 0.0.0.0 ][ 0.0.0.0 ][ 220.127.116.11 ][ 1 ][ WAN (Internet) ] Thanks in advance for any feedback!
