I'm experiencing major latency whenever a new host makes a DHCP REQUEST. The latency appears to just be on the wireless link (although it doesn't matter if the host making the new request is wired or wireless). We're talking pings to my router skyrocket from 1ms to 100+ms and stay that high for at least a few minutes. I don't see any spikes in the load on my router, and I'm not certain whether it matters which OS is making the connection. Any ideas on what may be causing this and for ways on resolving it? This is on a WRT54GL 1.1 running Tomato 1.23 (also occurred on 1.21). The latency effects all the wireless systems when it occurs, so I'm fairly confident its a network issue.
