I think you will find the firmware file type is recognized as incompatible when you make the attempt. However, if it did accept it, you'd be likely to "brick it" because the CPU is different [as noted in earlier release notes]

If you decide to try, please let us know what happens.

Hey All, any word on a fix in RV180W firmware 1.0.2.6? seems like a bug list a mile long
    Code:
    http://www.linksysinfo.org/index.php?threads/cisco-release-new-firmware-for-the-rv1080-rv180w.68302/
is it possible and/or advised to downgrade back to the 1.0.1.9? I use a fair amount of port forwarding on my router for web server, VPN, and some sweet ssh action, and both of these go down a little less than once per week. On the whole not a big deal, but pretty darn inconvenient. There doesn't appear to be work-arounds either

I have three RV042 V1 from which one has old firmware. I want to upgrade to final firmware version 1.3.13.02-tm but the firmware is no longer available for download.
Does someone has a 1.3.13.02-tm firmware load.
If not is it possible to extract firmware from my other two routers that have final load and create an image.
    Let me know.

The RV042 v3 4.2.3.07 firmware has a faulty DHCP server. Everything was working fine with v4.2.2.08.

    1) The problem with booting, as the DHCP requests are passed to the WAN
    2) Deleting a DHCP lease entry does not work, as it can reappear after a while.
    3) Changing the static IP entry in DHCP server does not clean the current DHCP leases list. A router reboot is necesary to do so.
