My landlady here who's taking up all my bandwidth every evening when she gets home, thing is she doesnt even pay a dime for internet. I am furious but I don't want to talk to her about it.

I have been trying to find a program that lets me limit her bandwidth so I can surf the internet and download stuffs properly, none of the programs I found (Cisco network magic, NetLimiter2, Traffic Shaper XP) work.

I want to limit her bandwidth, I cannot upgrade my router, so is there any way I can do?

    Please help, thanks.

Your choices are (1) Lock her out or (2) Limit her bandwidth. Locking her out may be a bit harsh; it's certainly looks good when you're negotiating rent that you're giving her free wifi. The nice thing about #2 is that she doesn't even need to know you're doing it.

I've never used it, but Victek's latest mod, described at http://www.linksysinfo.org/forums/showthread.php?t=57912 , claims to be be able to limit bandwidth by user.
