    Hi,

I was working on getting my girlfriend's router set up and ran into the limited or no connectivity warning. I am esperienced at setting up wireless networks, but have never run into this. The hardwear set-up is an HP laptop with XP Home, the WKPC54G kit, and a BEFSR41 router. For some reason her dad ran the modem to the BEFSR41, then to the wireless router.
The router conntects with the limited connectivity to the laptop. I have tried adjusting security settings, checked the MAC filter, etc. No luck at all. I tried going straight from the modem to the wireless router and eliminating the BEFSR41, but still no change. Everything is set to be obtained automatically and I have tried a release renew. Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks for the help.

I tried the reset and changed all the security settings. The router is a WRT54G. I am trying another laptop later this evening, but I forsee a no go.
