    Hi all,

I hope you can help me. I know what I want can be done as I did it in my previous office. That has since had an upgrade to VDSL and want to re-use my AG241 but had to reset the unit owing to a forgotten password.

I have a small range of public IPs from my ISP, who allocate them to my devices in order. Let's say I have 111.222.333.001 to 111.222.333.010

I want the Linksys AG241 to connect and obtain 111.222.333.010. I then want my firewall to request an IP and subsequently get 111.222.333.009 (they are allocated in reverse order).

My experimenting has led me to a couple of questions?

If I put the AG241 in 'bridge only mode' how do I connect to the web interface - does it retain its private IP for web administration?

To get the config above I assume I need to use PPPoA on the AG241 so it gets an IP? Then how do I configure the firewall (obviously a question to ask elsewhere but am I right in thinking that would be a firewall configuration problem or should the AG241 get the second public IP on its behalf?)

    Hope that makes sense.

    Thanks all

    Kevin
