I am having trouble staying connected to the internet. My wife and I are on a cable connection, using a Linksys BEFSX41 router to connect our two computers together. Her computer works just fine when connected to the internet. However, my computer "times out" and I lose internet connectivity with frequent regularity. It would seem that when I am on the internet, every 30-45 minutes my internet connection cuts off. The only way that I have found to regain it is to restart my computer. I have tried resetting both my modem and the router, ensured my NIC driver is up to date, and that the router is functioning properly, as I have swapped out the CAT 5e cables around testing different jacks. Nothing I have tried works so far. I did upgrade the firmware of the router to the 1.52.10 version. Which just so happens to be around the same time when I started having these connectivity issues with my router. Any ideas on how to obtain the original firmware for my router? I lost my disc that came with the router; would the firmware upgrade be causing these problems? Thanks.
