Hi, I have recently tried to install on a Linksys E1000 v2 a Tomato firmware.
Specifically I've tried with last Shibby and Toastman's release, but with no success. The upgrade from web interface start but after few second the router reboot with no changes.
I've tried with a dd-wrt release and it worked, reading threads on forum seem to be a rom dimension problem, like the Shibby and Toastman's fw are bigger than maximum rom dimension supported by the router.

    I've check roms dimension:
    Linksys: 3.850.272 byte
    dd-wrt: 3.559.424 byte
    Shibby: 4.031.488 byte
    Toastman: 3.957.760 byte

    I'm correctly understand?

Thanks Kim K, I see and as an alternative I can compile a custom rom from sources. Maybe when I can find some free time I can try . . .

Good! Have a nice day! ;)
